Yangon, Largest City of Myanmar
The capital and gateway to the Myanmar is called "The
Garden City of the East" with lush tropical flowers, trees and beautiful
lakes. Old colonial style buildings and people wearing traditional
costumes can still be seen in the city and this is one of the most and
unusually wonderful scenes in the world. |

Mandalay, The Heritage City of Myanmar
Mandalay was the last Kingdom of the Myanmar Dynasty
before the British took over. Mandalay which still has considerable
cultural and religious significance. The second largest city is about
700 km north of Yangon and stands on the east bank of the Ayeyarwaddy
River. |

Bagan, The Ancient City of Myanmar
On the east bank of the Ayeyarwady River, about 300
km south of Mandalay, Bagan is one of the three most famous Buddhist
archaeological sites in the world, the Angkor Wat of Cambodia and
Borobudur of Indonesia It is very famous for its sunrise and sunset view
over 2000 pagodas and temples. The Bagan Dynasty ran from 11th to 13th
century. |

Inle Lake, The Largest Lake in Myanmar
Inle Lake is 2880 feet above sea level on the Shan
Plateau. Enchanting beauty of high rising ranges at backdrop with 61
square miles of water expanse definitely brings sheer delights. Natives
Da-nu. Inn-tharr, Pa-o, Shan and Myanmar have been habituating afloat
upon this vast water spread for centuries. |

Ngapali Beach, The Sandy Beach of Myanmar
One of the finest resort beach in Myanmar and is
located on the Rakhine coast. Ngapali Beach is reached by 45 minute

Kyaikhtiyo, The Golden Rock of Myanmar
The site of one of Myanmar's holiest monuments, the
Golden Rock Pagoda, which sits precariously on the edge of a cliff and
said to be balanced by the hair relic of Buddha. Only 80km from Bago &
160 km from Yangon. It needs some more 11 km to be reached by hiking
from the base camp or by driving upto a point about a mile away to the
pagoda. |

Myikyinna, The Jade City of Myanmar
Myitkyinna, the capital of the Kachin State, situated
in the northern part of Myanmar, is worth a visit not only for its
scenic confluence of the Maikha and Malikha rivers, thus forming the
famous Ayeyarwaddy River, but also for the life style of the different
ethnic groups, approximately about 14 groups, those can be seen with
their traditional colourful costumes in the nearby villages. |

Kalaw, The Peaceful Place in Myanmar
Which lies about 32 KM west of Heho is a beautiful
hill station, surrounded by pine trees. It is a peaceful summer resort
with meandering mountain streams and fragrant pine woods. There are
Palaung villages nearby and hill tribes such as Danu in their colourful
costumes. They can be seen at Kalaw Market, held every five days. |
